Youth House

The St. Mary's Youth House was established in the year 2000. The goal of the Youth House is to provide a safe, secure, and permanent place for our parish youth to meet for social, religious and political discussions. The House contains games, game tables, a large screen television set and a billiards table. Youth House keeps our young people together and off the streets while providing them a place in which to share ideals, issues, and hope.

Pahokee Pals

Pahokee Pals is our after school program.  It is operated on our grounds by Catholic Charities  Five years ago, we were able to raise $350,000 to build the new building to house Pahokee Pals and supply the new facility with suitable furniture for the classrooms.  A small kitchen area provides the children with an after-school snack.  During vacation and holiday periods, Pahokee Pals is open to provide the children full-day "Camp Like" services while their parents are working.

Glades Academy of Agricultural and Ecology

Our charter school is an accredited public school serving the most needy academically in grades Kindergarten thru 5th grade.  The school has been on the St. Mary Church premises for over six years.  However, a new school building is planned off site through a million dollar gift the school has received.
