Started in 1994, the St. Mary Catholic Church Scholarship offers help to those who wish to continue on to post secondary education. They must apply, fulfill the requirements of community service hours, write an essay, and enter a college or university with at least a 3.0 high school average. Awards are given to the top three students who apply and fulfill all the requirements. Awards are given directly to the schools of higher education for the benefit of the winning student.
